"Tour du Vaccarès" circuit

On the eastern side of Saintes, after the Thalassotherapy centre, take the path towards the beaches.

At approximately 3 km from the departure point, take the dyke towards the sea and follow it to La Gacholle lighthouse.  Once you have passed the lighthouse, take a left turn and follow the concrete route to the village of « Le Paradis ».  Follow the D36b which runs along the Vaccarès lake to Villeneuve.  Then take the D37 for 7 km to Méjanes and follow signs to Les Saintes Maries de la Mer.
